    1. Overview & Legal Entity

This Privacy Policy describes how Mauricio Midence Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We are a Wyoming corporation operating under the registered fictitious business name MM Online Tax Services, registered in Contra Costa County, California. Our primary operating address is 2552 Appian Way, Pinole, CA 94564.

We provide tax preparation and tax-related advisory services for business owners and high-net-worth individuals in Northern California. By using our website, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

    2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and through your use of our site:

    • Identification & contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
    • Financial & tax data: information you share to receive tax preparation, resolution, planning, bookkeeping, or advisory services.
    • Communications: consultation requests, form submissions, and SMS correspondence you initiate or consent to receive.
    • Consent records: your opt-in and opt-out preferences for transactional and marketing messaging, including timestamps.
    • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage analytics collected automatically.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    We use your information to:

    • Provide tax preparation, resolution, planning, bookkeeping, and advisory services.
    • Respond to consultation requests and schedule appointments.
    • Send transactional messages such as appointment confirmations, document submission requests, deadline alerts, and account notifications.
    • Send marketing and educational tax content where you have provided express opt-in consent.
    • Maintain business records and fulfill legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

    4. SMS & Text Messaging (A2P / 10DLC)

We send automated SMS messages through Twilio, a third-party messaging platform, under a mixed-use A2P (Application-to-Person) 10DLC (10-digit long code) registration. Our SMS numbers are registered with Twilio's 10DLC program and our business registration has been verified against our DBA filings. Message throughput caps are respected per carrier guidelines.

Our SMS messaging falls into two classifications:

    • Transactional (no opt-in required): appointment confirmations, tax deadline reminders, document submission requests, account notifications, and password resets or verification codes.
    • Marketing (requires explicit opt-in): tax planning tips and educational content, service promotions, tax law updates relevant to clients, and soft calls to action to schedule consultations.

Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are sent as needed; marketing messages are sent based on your stated preference. Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for assistance. For full details, see our SMS Terms of Service.

    5. What We Do Not Send via SMS

To comply with carrier guidelines and protect your confidentiality, we never send the following via automated SMS:

    • Client-specific tax advice.
    • Financial recommendations or regulated investment guidance.
    • Personal financial information or sensitive account details.
    • Anything that requires licensed advice, which is deferred to human review and a direct engagement.

SMS messaging is for educational and transactional purposes only. It is not legal or tax advice. Consult with a tax professional for specific guidance.

    6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties. We may share data:

    • With trusted service providers who support our operations (such as Twilio for SMS delivery and secure document storage platforms), all bound by confidentiality obligations.
    • With tax authorities as required to fulfill our engagement.
    • When compelled by valid legal process.

Client data is not shared with third-party AI systems for training purposes.

    7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and analytics tags) to:

    • Analyze site traffic and user behavior.
    • Remember your preferences.
    • Improve website functionality and user experience.
    • Measure the effectiveness of our services.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of our website. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive financial or tax data.

    8. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Tax and financial data is treated with the confidentiality required of a tax practice. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

    9. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide services and to meet legal, tax, and professional recordkeeping obligations. SMS message data is retained per business record requirements, including opt-in and opt-out records. Complaint and abuse reports are documented and actioned within 24 hours.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to our legal and professional recordkeeping obligations. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at midencemtaxservices@gmail.com or call 510-669-5659.

    11. Children's Privacy
